John Poindexter (Chairman and CEO)
Mr. Poindexter has over 33 years of experience in the upstream communications industry. He founded BlackHawk Datacom in 2002 and currently serves as Chairman and CEO. Mr. Poindexter specializes in Mergers & Acquisitions, Start Ups, Business Development, Corporate Governance, and Financial Turnarounds. He currently serves as the Chairman of the Oilfield Christian Fellowship of Lafayette.
Ed Dauphin (CFO)
Mr. Dauphin provides Financial Consulting, Business Coaching and Strategic Planning for Aristotle’s Alexander. He has been working with business owners for the last 16 years providing business coaching and CFO services. Mr. Dauphin spent 26 years in the banking industry before beginning his consulting practice in 1998. His past positions include CFO for a bank holding company, President of Louisiana Delta Bank and SVP of Bank of Lafayette. He offers expertise in profitability improvement, business coaching, process flow analysis and strategy development. He is currently a member of the Manufacturing Extension Partnership of Louisiana Industrial Advisory Board and has been since 2000.
Alex Mottram (IT Director at United Vision Logistics)
Alex Mottram is IT Director at United Vision Logistics, an energy sector provider of transportation and logistics services, and has more than 18 years of experience in information technology, transportation logistics, IT transformation, and mergers and acquisitions. His extensive experience includes enterprise integration, application virtualization, business process optimization, systems analysis and design, as well as multi-platform business intelligence implementations.
Andre Comeaux (SVP)
Mr. Comeaux is Sr. VP at Regions Insurance and also works as a Risk Management Consultant and Broker at the firm. His past experience includes Sr. VP of Underwriting and Safety Services at Amerisafe, Inc. and various underwriting capacities at AIG and Aetna (now Travelers). He has more than fourteen years of experience in commercial insurance company operations and more than nine years of experience as a consultant and broker. Mr. Comeaux has served on the Board of Directors of the Greater Lafayette Chamber of Commerce and as President of the Board of the Acadiana Safety Association.
Andy Hartiens (Managing Partner)
Andy Hartiens is managing partner at Hartiens & Faulk, CPAs and has been for 37 years. He specializes in Taxation, Litigation Support Services, Management Advisory Services, Business Valuations, and Oil & Gas Accounting.
Dennis d’Aquin (CFO)
Mr. d’Aquin has over 20 years of experience in domestic and international business finance. He is currently the CFO of BlackHawk Datacom. His past experience includes VP of Finance and Administration at HB Rentals (a Superior Energy Services Inc. Company); Senior VP Treasury, Finance and Administration at Broadpoint; Accounting Manager at Feeport McMoran Copper and Gold Inc.; Accounting Supervisor at Freeport Indonesia; and Senior Accountant at Ericksen, Krentel and LaPorte. Mr. D’Aquin specializes in developing and implementing processes and controls, improving business operations, and establishing automated financial and business systems.
John Michael Chachere (Owner)
Mr. Chachere currently serves as President and Managing Member of Pine Island Chemical Solutions and Clearflow Solutions, LLC. Mr. Chachere founded Pine Island Chemical Solutions in 2006 and Clearflow in 2009. His current duties include managing of day to day operations of both companies which are headquartered in Lafayette, LA. Mr. Chachere is involved in both the technical and business aspects of his businesses, with a personal focus on connecting synergies that exist. Both companies are a growing leader in the markets they serve, which include Louisiana, Gulf of Mexico, and a presence in all U.S. shale plays. Mr. Chachere has over 15 years of experience in the Oil and Gas industry.
Steve Schaaf (VP/CTO)
Steve Schaaf currently serves as VP/CTO for Francis Drilling Fluids, one of the oldest drilling fluids companies on the Gulf Coast and a leader in logistics operations for the fracking industry. At Francis Drilling Fluids since 1994, Steve provides the technical guidance for the organization and presides over IT-related projects. He developed the companywide IT infrastructure and security systems and ensures execution of the company’s business goals and strategies that leverage technology. A key initiative was the design and management of Francis Drilling Fluids’ transportation logistics and warehouse inventory control software, as well as a data center convergence project and disaster recovery program.
